KA Formula 2005 (Race)

KA Formula - Designed in Australia, winning in Europe, taking on the world.

KA is the leader in high performance race sail design - refer to the parallel development of the all conquering Moth hydrofoil project. (Click here)

Last year the 9.5 and 10.5 received rave reviews from racers around the world. The 11.0 and 12.0 have now been on the circuit and we know that whole range is leading the pack.

Changes for 2005 include the introduction of Kevar XPly down the luff for durability and some sub millimetre shaping refinements.

What riders say about this sail:

Andy Abendroth GER-66:
Thanx for this perfect sails !!!!!! In the first German Windsurfing Competition, I´ve won one race with this incredible 11.0 formula, the other 4 races I finished in Top 5. With the new 550 mast from Lorch/KA the 11.0 sail feels totaly light and easy to handle.
Great work in low wind ( 11-14 kn) and also in higher wind (18-21kn) conditions.

In slalom I used the 6.6 Koncept ( from 18 to 35 Kn, this sail´s burning down the strip like a thunderbolt ;-) ) and the 9.5 Formula ( 10-20 kn).

Johan, Surf Unique, Sweden:
Günther Lorch had me testing his 10.5 Formula last spring and I loved it, after that I was actually doing better in competitions with the 10.5 than my 12.5 Neil Pryde even in lightwind, atthe end of the season (for example PWA Leba) I only registrered my 10.5 because I prefered it in all wind conditions.

Simon Dick, Melbourne:
Had first sail on 9.5 today in 10 to 15. Wow, talk about fast and down - downwind.
